  • Kitchen Little is business of the month

MYSTIC — Because of their level of community involvement and overall success, Kitchen Little has been recognized as the September business of the month by the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce.

Kitchen Little has slowly become a long-standing tradition in Southeastern Connecticut for tourists and residents alike.

The force behind the eatery is Flo Klewin, owner for over 30 years. They offers an endless menu of New England favorites all while sitting on the shoreline at the Mystic River Marina, 36 Quarry Road in Mystic.

Open seven days a week, breakfast is offered all day and house specials change daily. They pride itself on their participation in the “shop local” movement. They exclusively serve cage free eggs that are hormone, steroid and antibiotic free. They also purchase seafood fresh from our local waters from Bomster Scallops and Seawell Seafood; the ingredients are fresh and support the local economy.

Kitchen Little has been featured in issues of Yankee, The Food Network and Connecticut Magazines. The Portuguese Fisherman Omelet even won Best Breakfast in Connecticut from The Food Network Magazine in years past.
