Wheeler roundup: Golf team drops final match


OLD SAYBROOK — All four Old Saybrook player shot under 40 as the Rams beat Wheeler High 1-0 in a golf match Tuesday at Fenwick Golf Course.

Peyton Mulhern posted the top scored for the Lions with a 45. Par was 35.

Others who contributed to the Wheeler scored were Michael Anderson (49), Max Reck (51) and Tyler Primmett (52).

Old Saybrook’s Jamie DeAntonis posted the best score of the day with a 40.

Both teams are 4-12. The match ended Wheeler’s season.
